ASAP ROCKY LIVE @ FADER FORT: BLOWHIPHOPTV.COM

CMJ was a long list of great shows, A-list venues and rocking parties. We took some time out this week to chill with Harlem’s own ASAP crew to get a better idea of how the team moves. With booked shows all week, we went with Rocky to the Fader Fort to see him headline one of NYC’s premiere events.

ASAP ROCKY LIVE @ VICE, CREATORS PROJECT: BLOWHIPHOPTV.COM

Two weeks after performing with The Diplomats at Best Buy Theatre [http://bit.ly/pILE9r ], and just one day after inking his deal with, RCA Records, A$AP Rocky took his act to downtown Brooklyn to capture the ears of many first time listeners at the 2nd Annual Creator’s Project in Dumbo, Brooklyn. The two day art and technology festival was put together by Vice X Intel, and featured numerous cutting edge interactive exhibitions that stimulated the senses of the thousands in attendance.

A$AP Rocky touched stage as one of the clear standouts, amongst a lineup of that consisted of acts ranging from electro/house DJ Justice, to indie-rock sensation Florence + The Machine. In front of a mixed crowd of hipsters and tech connoisseurs, the rebel youth managed to tear up his set and make the ASAP name known amongst the new listeners. Despite being a 23 year old new comer, Rocky showed that his presence is a present by bringing fans on stage, sparking mosh pits, and finishing his set by rapping while walking through the entire crowd, exiting through the main entrance.

A$AP Rocky is set to tour with Drake and Kendrick Lamar [http://bit.ly/riz2Pk] on November 9th.His debut label mixtape “Live Love ASAP” is set to drop soon and you can bet your bottom Peso that this is just the beginning for the Harlem emcee.

Keydren “Kee Kee” Clark had a huge game as did Africa coming off the bench to provide that spark the team needs. With $20,000 already secure, the match-up everyone wants to see is Ooh Way vs Team Nike. Stay tuned and keep your kicks laced!

TEAM NIKE - DYCKMAN WEEK 3: BLOWHIPHOPTV.COM

For Week 3 at the famed Dyckman Basketball Tournament, Ron Artest came out to play for Ooh-Way as they faced off against team 914. With an early lead that looked like a runaway blow out, 914 stormed back to make it a close game. For game 2 of the evening, Team Nike setup against JTA and from the outset it was clear that this was not gonna be an easy win for either team. With so many stars on Team Nike they eventually pulled out a close win.
