KENDRICK LAMAR “HII POWER” LIVE - CLUB PARADISE TOUR, NEW ORLEANS
“Bright as Thomas Edison but Gucci Mane hood,” for sure; Kendrick Lamar delivers a great balance of hip-hop grit and intellect especially when it’s delivered acapella to a stadium full of fans. As a mere two man set, Kendrick and his dynamic DJ, Ali (also engineer, producer, and hype man) give a great show on Drake’s Club Paradise Tour which also features fresh music from Chase N Cashe and A$AP Rocky.
A$AP ROCKY STOPS SHOW + SAVES FAN - “WASSUP” BOSTON: BLOWHIPHOPTV.COM
OK, after fvcking up the last post from the A$AP Mob Tour we’re gonna keep this one light. We’re tired from the Canadian expedition and we apologize for our geographical brain freeze (Canada is indeed not Europe - but the cold, the French in Montrea, and the medicinals might have been responsible).
Now back in that states we are ready for some homecookin’ and a lil rest. Anyway here’s a brief snippet from the Boston show were Rocky proves just how much he cares about his fans and will even stop the show to make sure they don’t get kicked out for mobbin, smoking or crowd surfin’.

ASAP ROCKY TALKS ABOUT WORKING WITH SCHOOLBOY Q
ASAP Rocky talks briefly about working with his West Coast family member Schoolboy Q and the other TDE sensation, Kendrick Lamar.
As of late Harlem has re-emerged as a hot bed for young upcoming talent. With the Asap crew taking over daytime radio, the hip hop world is looking uptown once again to see and hear what the streets are talking about.
We sat with Harlem’s own Nakim of YHC x GFC to understand what made him, his sound, and his values different from anyone else in the game right now. “People didn’t know what the fuck i was doing out here but they knew i was grinding” states Nakim, “But when i play them that mix-tape people are surpirsed like damn I didn’t even know you were doing music and damn this shit is hot”.
After spending the last few years building up his resources and establishing his contacts Nakim has made a name for himself through the fashion world, so when he dropped his new mix-tape more than a few people were caught off guard that the music, videos and overall presentation were all on point. With a string of well directed videos from up-comer Slick Jackson, Nakim displays his flashy sense of style accompanied with sharp lyrics that immediately give you a visual of who Nakim is and were he can take his sound.
